Loitering around, my mind updated it's garbage collection with some new thoughts, which I am about to spit here, on Sentimientos (By the way how's the new name?).
Often when we are dejected and darkness seems to sit up above us like a spot light shining continuously just to make us the odd one out(Paradoxical, is it?), many What-ifs, Whys and Whens take birth inside our thinking tool; only to push us into the pit of our own drawn conundrum. There seems no option but to think, think and think more! Well, what if, in that sadness, we daydream? Instead of dreaming how things could have been, think about how things can be. Just for an example, day before in my 'Linux' class, after a cold war, I was acting horse. (Stop that snicker! I meant I was flowing in my own cobweb of thoughts and still acting right). I thought, What if I just stop worrying about my future and just start living my present? What if I end this cold war by hugging him knowing that he's my best friend? Yup, these questions describe how things can be and everything still is in our callus hands. It's much fruitful to think about how things can be rather than charging that spotlight with how things could have been. Just saying is way more easier than imbibing, but it's worth a shot; believe me!
What did you understand by the above para? Say 'not a word' and I'll have a cannon dropped on you! I believe, the longer you think you are sad, you will be sad! Sadness is one thing that needs to be ephemeral which in today's imprudent and fast-living world, happiness and satisfaction is. If you are sad, spit it out! Get rid of the bad-thinker-worm which'll grow bigger if you feel it's presence. Thinking about how things can be kills this worm. It maybe a hard time for some out there to leave the thoughts of crotchety and despair, and think about what ifs, but believe me if you do this, you can prepare a whole lot of army for fighting distress, sadness and darkness!
The basic point in this thread of spiky thoughts is, if you are sad then whatever the reason maybe just try and follow these:
1) Indulge in random thoughts, 'how things can be': Don't think about anything that makes you sad and provokes you to feed that sadness-germ inside you. Deviate your mind. This is seldom possible but is an efficacious solution.
2) Stop sulking, Expectorate!: Just spit those negations out loud to your true friend or somewhere where they can't haunt you back. Express your anger, disgust, curiosity, exuberance, fear and every other emotion! They were never made to sit inside you, expel these sentimientos and you'll feel lighter.
3) Listen to your favourite numbers: It's aptly said, "Music has the power to hypnotize". Swing in the arms of music and you'll feel way smoother, lighter and stronger. Here, of course the choice of the kind of music matters. You must not listen to sad music during your dark period, for obvious reasons! On this note, let me tell you that every sad-looking song is not necessarily sad! Listen to this: Every Teardrop Is A WaterFall.
Life's too short to regret and keep holding onto things that hardly matter and won't even be with us a few years from now. Always try to be a smile generator and distributor for as they say it takes only 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown. Choice is yours.
And for me it's time to pull up the gears and beat the drums. Loiter karte hue itna kuch sochna achievement hai, haina?
An inefficacious, inept and inapposite post written imprudently. Sab iss Garbage Collection ki galti hai.
